BLS for Healthcare Professionals
This course provides in-depth training in CPR and ventilation techniques for the professional rescuer and healthcare professionals. Use of the AED is also covered in this program. This course is longer than the Heartsaver Programs and is accepted by most organizations as continuing education. Select this program if you hold a professional license, work in a healthcare facility, or volunteer with a fire department of EMS Service.

Heartsaver CPR AED

Heartsaver CPR/AED
The Heartsaver CPR/AED course teaches the basic techniques of adult CPR and use of an AED. Rescuers learn how to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies, including cardiac arrest and choking for responsive adult, child and infant victims. Modules for Child AED and infant/child CPR will be taught. Students also learn to use barrier devices in CPR

If you hold a professional medical license, such as MD, RN, LPN, EMT or RPM, you need the BLS for Healthcare Providers class. The Heartsaver courses will not work for your license.
