Heartsaver CPR/AED & First Aid


The Heartsaver First Aid course teaches rescuers to effectively recognize and treat emergencies in the critical first minutes until EMS personnel arrive. The Heartsaver First Aid course provides a complete health and safety training solution for first aid, adult CPR and AED. Modules also include infant CPR and environmental emergencies.

PLEASE NOTE: If you need BOTH the CPR/AED and Basic First Aid you will need to take both nights. Please call (904) 209-1733 if you have any questions.

If you hold a professional medical license, such as MD, RN, LPN, EMT or RPM, you need the BLS for Healthcare Providers class. The Heartsaver courses will not work for your license.

BLS for Healthcare Professionals
This course provides in-depth training in CPR and ventilation techniques for the professional rescuer and healthcare professionals. Use of the AED is also covered in this program. This course is longer than the Heartsaver Programs and is accepted by most organizations as continuing education. Select this program if you hold a professional license, work in a healthcare facility, or volunteer with a fire department of EMS Service.

This Instructor Course is for those persons who wish to teach ACLS. Upon successful completion of the course and the succeeding student teaching requirements, the Instructor Candidate will obtain an American Heart Association instructor card that correlates to their current status. Instructor Candidates will be able to teach an ACLS course using the video and lesson maps that are part of the appropriate ACLS course instructor materials. Instructor candidates will also be able to use the new testing materials to conduct skills testing.

This Instructor Course is for those persons who wish to teach BLS for Healthcare Povider and Heartsaver CPR/AED and First Aid. Upon successful completion of the course and the succeeding student teaching requirements, the Instructor Candidate will obtain an American Heart Association instructor card that correlates to their current status (Either BLS HealthCare Provider or HeartSaver). Heartsaver CPR/AED
The Heartsaver CPR/AED course teaches the basic techniques of adult CPR and use of an AED. Rescuers learn how to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies, including cardiac arrest and choking for responsive adult, child and infant victims. Modules for Child AED and infant/child CPR will be taught. Students also learn to use barrier devices in CPR

If you hold a professional medical license, such as MD, RN, LPN, EMT or RPM, you need the BLS for Healthcare Providers class. The Heartsaver courses will not work for your license.
