BLS for Healthcare Professionals
This course provides in-depth training in CPR and ventilation techniques for the professional rescuer and healthcare professionals. Use of the AED is also covered in this program. This course is longer than the Heartsaver Programs and is accepted by most organizations as continuing education. Select this program if you hold a professional license, work in a healthcare facility, or volunteer with a fire department of EMS Service.

 

Please be advised that a minimum of six participants is required for the class to proceed. In the event that the class does not meet this minimum, it will be canceled, and you will be notified the week prior to the scheduled date.

Heartsaver CPR/AED & First Aid


The Heartsaver First Aid course teaches rescuers to effectively recognize and treat emergencies in the critical first minutes until EMS personnel arrive. The Heartsaver First Aid course provides a complete health and safety training solution for first aid, adult CPR and AED. Modules also include infant CPR and environmental emergencies.

If you hold a professional medical license, such as MD, RN, LPN, EMT or RPM, you need the BLS for Healthcare Providers class. The Heartsaver courses will not work for your license.
